Grace & Truth in the Midst of the Unexpected

Grace and Truth

As we go through life, we all face a lot of unexpected challenges. I’ve found there are four possible ways to deal with the unexpected:

Focus inward and wallow in self-pity.

Focus backward and mourn in grief.

Look ahead in uncertainty and confusion.

Or…

Look up in trust to the God who loves me.

I’ve learned that no matter what uncertainty I’m facing, the answer is always the same: Jesus.

No matter what undertainty you're facing, the answer is always the same: Jesus Click To Tweet

And this is the spirit of today’s featured post by Maree Dee How to Thrive in the Midst of the Unexpected. Maree provides both encouragement and a list of practical ways to help you thrive in your circumstances by focusing on the same God who died to give you His unending peace.

What unexpected circumstances are you facing today? Are you wallowing, mourning, or confused? Then head over to Embracing the Unexpected for a little encouragement to help you thrive in God’s love and peace.
