Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 1:23
This verse takes my breath away every time I hear or read it. As though I didn’t know what was coming, those last three words leave me a bit stunned.
God with us.
God, the king and creator of the universe with us.
God lowered Himself to come to earth just to be with us.
God with undeserving sinners like us.
I’ve read and heard about it, prayed and even written about it. And yet, I can’t seem to wrap my brain around it.

God With Us
In today’s featured post, Jeanne Tanenaka asks, Have you ever stopped—really stopped—to consider these three little words?
Emmanual. God with us. Three little words that are just as relevant in 2020 as the day the angel Gabriel made the divine name reveal.
Join me on JeanneTakenaka.com takes us on a beautiful journey of hope, comfort, peace, and joy.

Are You Up For Some Family Fun This Holiday Season?
Christmas is right around the corner. If you’re looking for something to do with your family over the holiday, consider teaching them how to make their own t-shirt or decorate a coffee mug. Everyone will walk away with keepsakes and memories, which will make this holiday a hit.
Now For This Week’s Link Up!
Let’s bless and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord…

We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each week. If you are a Christian blogger, we invite you to link up and meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader, we encourage you to visit new bloggers and discover women who love Jesus as much as you do. Whoever you are, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.
Join us each Friday for the Grace & Truth Link-Up!
