Do you believe spiritual battles are real?
Have you ever stopped to think about it?
The Candid Gals and I have spent a lot of time talking about them over the past few months. Between health issues, and just being overwhelmed with life, we know it’s more than “just life.”
Paul wrote to the Ephesians, “…our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
I believe that with every fiber of my being.
Especially when I read the Bible. Books like Job. Or Paul’s own thorn in his flesh, which he called a ” messenger of Satan.”
The point is, spiritual warfare is real.Grace and truth for the woman who doesn't feel like a prayer warrior… Click To Tweet
Yet even knowing that spiritual warfare is real… knowing that there are spiritual battles that need to be fought… I don’t always feel like a prayer warrior.
That’s why I wanted to choose to feature Beth’s post this week. Beth shares four simple ways we can be on guard. Ways we can “Battle Strong in Times of Spiritual Warfare.” However, it didn’t feel like something that was overwhelming. It was doable. Even for someone like me who suffers from chronic migraines, has four kids, and doesn’t always remember how old she is.
Any who, I hope you’ll hop over and check it out. You won’t regret it.
Here are the two books I mentioned if you’re interested:
Now For This Week’s Link Up!
Let’s bless and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord…
We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each week. If you are a Christian blogger, we invite you to link up and meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader, we encourage you to visit new bloggers and discover women who love Jesus as much as you do. Whoever you are, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.
Join us each Friday for the Grace & Truth Link-Up!
