Grace & Truth To Be Deeply Rooted

May 1, 2020 |
Grace and Truth

Today is the first day of May.

I have seen a lot of people post online about how the past month or two has seemed to be drawn out. Meme’s like it’s the 492rd day of Mapril make me laugh, but if I’m honest, the past month flew by.

The disruption to my routine has left me scattered.

It’s a scattered that I feel in my soul.

Deeply Rooted

Thus, when I came across Sarah’s post, 3 Ways to Live a Deeply Rooted Life, I knew it was the one I wanted to feature this week. If for no other reason, than that’s what I’ve been craving.

In the midst of the chaos, I want roots that keep me from blowing away.

Do you ever feel that way?

If so, I encourage you to head over to Sarah’s blog.

Scattered is a good word to describe where we find ourselves.

Strong, unchangeable, loving, compassionate describes our Savior. I’m so grateful He’s the same, yesterday, today, forever!

As a fellow gardener I can so relate. We must have a deeply rooted life just like our plants need to be deeply rooted to survive and thrive! Great points Sarah!

I have felt scattered, too, and not as able to focus as often. Sometimes around the house ,mindless little tasks help me feel like I am accomplishing something.

Now more than ever, I too realize my need for roots. I have felt scattered a bit the past month as well. I’m thankful that Jesus grounds us, even when we’re unaware of it. I’m glad you shared Sarah’s post. She writes so beautiful and is so grounded herself.
