Today is my son’s birthday. He’s 15. He’s probably the tallest 15-year-old I know. And he has big feet, but that’s beside the point.
I’m telling you this because last year I forgot his birthday.
True story.
You can read my full confession here.
So what does that have to do with today’s Grace & Truth post?
Well, for one, it’s important to remember these things. (Even if migraines cause memory loss.) Lesson learned.
But more importantly, it’s because today’s featured post has actually been featured before. However, since she linked up again, and I wasn’t a host last time, I’m totally featuring it again.
It’s that good.

(And I checked the rules, it’s fair game.)
The Bible & Body Image
About a year and a half ago, I wrote a post called Faith, Fat, & Fitness. It was probably one of my most popular posts. Not just online, but it’s one of the ones people have stopped me at church or around town to tell me they appreciated.
Why did it go over so well?
Because women could relate.
So when I came across Diane’s post, What The Bible Says About Body Image, I knew it was the one I wanted to feature. She shares some great Scriptural truths in her post, but she also is just plain honest. And that’s what I liked the most.
I didn’t read her post thinking I needed to do better or try harder. I read it with a sense of relief.
If I haven’t already given you a link overload, I also wanted to mention that Becky Hastings, another regular Grace & Truth blogger, linked up her post, A Love Letter To My Body which is also worth reading if you have time. So, you know, there’s that.
